LUKE 10:30 records Jesus beginning one of His most famous parables—that of the Good Samaritan. Jesus tells of a certain man who was traveling and “fell among thieves.” In Treasure Island, Stevenson describes Dick as having “been well brought up before he came to sea and fell among bad companions.”
