Jubal

John DrydenGENESIS 4:21 identifies Jubal as “the father of all those who play the harp and the flute” and he is often named in literature as the father of music and song. Dryden writes:

When Jubal struck the corded shell,
His list’ning brethren stood around,
And, wond’ring, on their faces fell
